An alpha is only worth what we learn from it.
- In-game reports: a key that captures the scene with the position, build and state, like the explorer's notes (#110), and sends it to the team with a typed comment (bug, idea, balance). Testers see their reports and the answers.
- Crash reports: the client and server send panics and GPU errors with the build and hardware; a list of top crashes per build.
- Analytics: sessions, session length, return rate, where players go and die, the steps of the loop each tester reached (landed, sold, crafted, travelled, held a plot, raided); respectful of the privacy page.
- A feedback channel and a short survey after each wave.
Done when every report, crash and the funnel of the loop for a wave can be read on one dashboard.
